He has worked with children and youth all of his professional life and has coached children's sports for 27 years. He has been the coach for the JV Girls Softball Team at Redwood High School since 1994.

Mr. White enjoys using P.E. activities as teaching tools to help children learn important "life skills" such as sportsmanship, teamwork, self-discipline, respect for themselves and others, etc. His motto is that "winning isn't everything, but trying is." He has a passion for children to do their best regardless of the outcome and to be a source of encouragement, support, and understanding of their specific needs. He tries to do whatever he can so the child feels they have succeeded in the specific endeavor.
