Cathy Timmer
Preschool Director
Cathy has been at GSLS for 16 years, starting as Extended Care Supervisor and has been the Preschool Director for 14 years. She has 30 units in Early Childhood Education and a Child Development Teacher Permit. She has been in the Early Childhood profession for about 30 years. She began her career by opening a home daycare when her own children were young. She went from daycare to college and then after 15 years as a teacher she became a Preschool Director. She worked for many schools in Novato, but always wanted to be at Good Shepherd.
Cathy and her husband, Ed, have lived in Novato for over 20 years and have 3 grown children, 2 sons and a daughter. She also has one grandson. She is very involved in her church, Our Lady of Loretto, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
Cathy believes that working at Good Shepherd is one of the many blessings she has in her life!
