Gayle Hays
Preschool 2's class

Gayle Hays will be the lead teacher on Tuesday and Thursday and the support teacher on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the two year old class.

This is her fourth year teaching at Good Shepherd Lutheran School; it is a place where she feels at home. Gayle's history with the school dates back to 1983 when she worked in the 2's classroom during a semester while enrolled in a class at Novato High School.

She was "reacquainted" with Good Shepherd in 1999 when her son, Andrew, began 1st grade. He attended Good Shepherd up through 5th grade. Andrew is 16 years old and will be entering 11th grade at Novato High School this upcoming school year. Her daughter, Natalie, will be 10 years old in September and has been attending Good Shepherd since she was in the 2's. She is now entering the 4th grade class at Good Shepherd.

Gayle's history with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church dates all the way back to when she was an infant and was baptized. Her family have been church members since 1959. Gayle and her husband, Donald, were married at Good Shepherd by Pastor Gravrock and will be celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary in December 2009. Their family makes their home in Novato.

Gayle had previously worked at a preschool in Corte Madera for 16 years. Her experience there included; an assistant teacher in the toddler classroom, an office assistant, and a director for the remaining 10 years of her employment. Her daughter was an infant when the preschool closed in July 2000. She had been a stay-at-home mom up until August 2006.

Gayle is looking forward to working with you and your children this up coming year.
